
The Phylloxera and Grape Industry Board of South Australia (PGIBSA) is committed to protecting South Australian vineyards from phylloxera and providing effective pest and disease management policies and information to industry and government. It is the only body of its type in the world established specifically to deal with phylloxera.
PGIBSA derives its functions and powers from the
Phylloxera and Grape Industry Act (1995) 
and is responsible to the South Australian Parliament through the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries,
Hon Gail Gago, MLC.
